  • In petroleum refining and chemical production processes, trace chlorine in feedstocks significantly impacts catalyst consumption and product quality. Therefore, chlorine content analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products is essential to provide scientific basis for quality control.

Traditional microcoulometric methods for detecting chlorine in oils are complex, with chlorine conversion rates affected by multiple instrument conditions. Increasingly, users prefer the novel monochromatic wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry for trace chlorine detection.

Monochromatic wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry is a new type of XRF instrument. It utilizes doubly curved crystal monochromation and focusing technology to focus high-intensity characteristic X-rays from the tube onto a small sample area, exciting characteristic radiation of elements. Secondary doubly curved crystals then focus specific elemental characteristic radiation (e.g., Cl: Kα 2.62 keV) onto the detector, achieving high selectivity and sensitivity.

The DUBHE-1710 monochromatic wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer can also determine chlorine content in various liquids and solids. Its selective excitation and exclusive collection of chlorine fluorescence ensure accuracy and sensitivity, making it effective for trace chlorine analysis.

  • • High Sensitivity and Accuracy
Full-focusing doubly curved crystal monochromation technology

    Efficient Excitation
Through Johansson-type doubly curved crystals, diffracts and focuses high-intensity characteristic spectral lines onto a small sample area, significantly reducing scattered radiation background and enhancing elemental excitation efficiency.

    Accurate Measurement
Performs secondary diffraction and focusing of elemental rays through Johansson-type doubly curved crystals, delivering excellent peak-to-background ratios for target elements.
